In Person Classes

Structured Group Classes

These classes cover specific techniques, like the beginners course which deals with the basic sewing skills such as darts, seams and zips or a workshop to make a bralette, skirt or making a pattern from your favourite ready to wear.   These classes are run in many different venues and as such will  vary in the number of people taking part.  They will be listed here with links to buy your spot from the independent venues I work with.

If you have a group that would like to get together to concentrate on a perticular technique or pattern, please get in touch to discuss what you’d like to cover.

If you have a group of friends that  you’d like to get together with me on hand to guide you through the tricky bits of your project, then please do get in touch and we can put a day or afternoon together.

Zoom Sessions

These became popular during the pandemic and can still be helpful if you cannot travel to a class or you’d like a quick shoot question session.

If you would like a zoom consultation to help with any fitting or tricky techniques then a zoom meeting may be for you.  You might not have time to get to a class or you may be miles away from me.  With Zoom, distance is no object.  Refining a technique or a fit issue can be worked through zoom with demonstration and guidance.  A Fitting session can be made easier with two of you so if you’re able, why not buddy up and have a fitting with a friend so you can pin under guidance.  Understanding where to pin to get the best results as well as how to adjust can make your sewing journey so much easier.  Get in touch to set a date.

1-1 Tutorial

This is a chance for you to define what you want to focus on.  Give yourself the time to concentrate on a particular topic or cut into that fabric you’ve been stroking for a while but haven’t dared break into.  It may be you want to get the fit right on that elusive trouser or create your dream dress.    I can guide you through the trickiest of fabrics or help you define the right fit, in the comfort of your own home or my studio in the middle of leafy Norfolk.   Get in touch to see how it might work for you.
